FAQ's

When is the PPT set up?

Provision for the PPT is written in to the wills but the actual PPT is only set up when the first person dies and their will is read.

Can the surviving spouse sell the house and move if required?

Yes and no, it depends on what you want, the PPT can be written to allow this to happen, the surviving spouse would then be able to re-use the money in the trust to buy another property, however, some people would prefer if this is not allowed and so that ensures that the children would inherit the house that is specified in the will, it's up to you.

Do we have to write new wills every time we move home?

No, I write the PPT to apply to any house that you own at the time of your deaths, all you need to remember is to buy any new properties as Tenants in Common.

How much does a pair of wills with PPT's in cost?

£279 in total, for more details on prices of other products, please see my main will prices page.
